NATURE VS. NURTURE

That's the big thing that we're learning about now. The whole nature versus nurture dealio. In my opinion, they both depend on eachother. Well, not really depend, but you can't have one without the other. They both contribute to how we are, you grow up like your parents because of genes, and your environment contributes to how you are. I don't think there is one that is more dominant, they're equal.

Three things I learned in this chapter. Okay, 1) Even though twins are the same, they could be different. Ex: identical twins don't always have the same number of copies of the shared genes. And, One of the twin's placenta may provide slightly better nourishment. Therefore, they aren't EXACTLY the same. 2) Hereditability is the extent to which variation among individuals can be attributed to their differing genes. In simpiler words, how the differences in individuals can affect their genes. 3) I read that men are attracted to women who have signs of future fertility, like slim waists and smooth skin. Women are attracted to men who are mature, dominant, and bold. By choosing mates who are like this, in the future we might have more people like this, because of the traits passed down.
